EF provider fact sheet
An EF fact sheet must be completed by the EF Provider for all contracted EF provision in each Local
Employability Partnership Area in line with their contract allocation. A separate fact sheet must be
completed for each Stage offered by the EF Provider. The EF Provider must submit the completed
EF fact sheets to the named SDS Contract Manager for approval in advance of any start dates. Once
approved the EF Provider must circulate to all EF referral organisations in the LEP area.

Up to 2 weeks in the training centre and up to 2 weeks work placement.
Initially in training centre for up to 2 weeks.
Then 4 days per week on work experience (up to 7.5 hours per day), plus 1 day per week (up to 5 hours) in Training Centre.
Days, including start and finish times, will vary depending on agreement between advisor, client and placement and will be continuous throughout
the duration of the programme. Initial assessment will be undertaken and thereafter amended, if appropriate, to suit the needs of each client
towards achieving the aims of their individual training plan.

To provide employability and vocational training, support and guidance across various sectors, aligning Training Plans to individual client needs and
career aspirations.
Advising clients on employer expectations and requirements, preparing them for work experience and developing their core skills.
Identifying placements where there are potential job opportunities, assisting active job searching, as well as working on speculative enquiries that
can lead to gaining sustainable employment.
Pre-employability training which includes developing a C.V, letter writing, paper and online applications, job searching, My World of Work, Universal
Job Match, interview questions and preparation, build confidence, self presentation and body language, plus group activities to develop team work
and interactive skills.
As appropriate, working towards vocational training for sectors including hospitality, retail, customer service, care, construction and security.
Qualifications offered include World Host, CSCS Labourers Card, REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene, Retail Skillsmart (Peoples 1st) and SIA (BIAAB).
Vocational work experience to develop skills and knowledge, improve confidence and further enhance employability, in addition to qualifications/
training gained to increase chances of sustainable employment.
Achievement of job outcome, progression to a Modern Apprenticeship, or progression towards a more advanced level of further education.
Clients need to be interviewed and assessed by Lifeskills within 4 weeks of planned programme start date and date on the Eligibility Form from
the referring organisation.
Clients should not be referred if they have been accepted for a further education course.
