EF provider fact sheet
An EF Provider fact sheet must be completed by the EF Provider for all contracted EF provision in each Local Employability Partnership (LEP) Area in line
with their contract allocation. A separate fact sheet must be completed for each Stage offered by the EF Provider. The EF Provider must submit the
completed fact sheets to their SDS Skills Investment Adviser for approval no later than 7 days after written acceptance of the contract. Once approved
the EF Provider must promptly circulate to all EF referring organisations in the LEP area.

Flexible delivery with sometime in training centre and/or sometime in work placement dependent upon individual as provision is needs led.
If Qualification led training may take place within a recognised Training Centre.
Dependent upon type of provision can vary from 1-5 days per week spread over 7 days with a maximum of 30 hours per week and no minimum stated as it is
again needs led. Duration can vary dependent on certification and industry qualification required. Average program length is normally up to 2 weeks for
short course training and could be up to 8 weeks if a industry specific placement is part of the ITP, determined by the needs of the individual.
Start dates will be agreed on a roll on roll off basis. or alternatively as a group identified for a specific employer needs to meet demand.
Initial telephone call or e-mail is recommended to discuss and check on availability of provision at the relevant stage, Each referral will be
interviewed by an experienced team member who will carry out assessments to establish that the referral stage is correct and agree the initial
contents of an Individual Training Plan discussing & documenting the steps to be taken to promote progression and achievement. This should be
followed by a fully completed Eligibility Confirmation signed by both parties prior to any start being considered. Applications should be posted or
emailed to the Local Provider contact, Doug Taylor contact details shown above. Individuals should not be referred if they have been accepted
for a further education course.
In addition to the referral paperwork a copy of a letter offering an interview / job after gaining a specific qualification from a prospective employer
should be included where possible.

Stage 4 provision will be targeted at participants who are work ready with the emphasis on job opportunities and job matching and delivering the skills,
certification/qualification necessary to achieve and sustain employment in the sector of their choice, using a personal plan driven by their individual needs.
For those participants who have been able to gain letters offering an interview or position with an employer subject to gaining specific training / certification
the next step will be to support them to gain the appropriate training / certification required and secure employment. Examples of EF approved
qualifications are Forklift both Counterbalance and Reach.
Moray Training will also consider offering qualifications which are not on the EF approved qualifications list on a case by case basis such as Security Industry
Authority, pre-recruitment requirements such as a interview with a security company representative to check suitability for the SIA application process or
any pre-training course requirements (such as proof of residency, proof of identity, valid driving license) must be met before a referral will be offered a place
on a course. .

All starts must be arranged and agreed within 28 days of the date the Eligibility Confirmation was signed by both parties, if a start cannot be arranged within
this period then a new/or resigned Eligibility Confirmation will be required to ensure the referrals circumstances have not changed before any applicant will
be considered for a start.
Stage 4 referrals must have identified potential employment opportunities requiring specific qualifications / certification and /or have a letter from a
potential employer offering them an interview / job on successful completion and certification of a specific qualification.
