sensor damage. Wire cage guards can be installed in
gymnasiums, warehouses, locker rooms, and
multi-purpose rooms to protect sensors from
damage or destructive strikes. Mounting clips
are included.

Sensor Performance
• Coverage patterns and range will be limited by the
addition of these cages (see diagrams in the Sensor
Coverage section for guidance). Exact coverage
will vary, depending on how the sensor and cage
are mounted. To test coverage of sensors, use Test
Mode.
• Not recommended for use with RF sensors.
The metal wire cage forms an RF barrier around
the sensor that significantly reduces the RF
performance. For installations where an RF sensor
is required, the RF range can be tested with the
cage installed after assiociating the sensor to a load
control device.

Mounting
• Center the wire guard over existing sensor.
• Drill four 0.25 in (6.3 mm) mounting holes. Hardware provided.
• If lag bolts are used, make sure anchor is flush with surface. Position guard, insert lag bolt and tighten. Lag bolt
should be long enough to assure full thread engagement in anchor.
