Application for Commencement of Maintenance Period
3 – Requirements
In order for the 12 month maintenance period to begin the following requirements must be met.
The carriageway, footways, cycle tracks and surface water drainage have been completed to adoptable standard
This application must include PDF copies of the as-built drawings.
These drawing should show at minimum: - carriageways, footpaths, cycle tracks, services strips, surface water
drainage systems and all SUDS features.
These drawings should also clearly show details of the future maintenance responsibilities stating the responsible
party (e.g. Roads Authority, Scottish Water, Developer)
A complete CCTV survey of the surface water system to be adopted by the Roads Authority should also be submitted
with this application
4 – Declaration
I confirm that the information I have given on this form is correct and the requirements in Section 3 above have
been met.
I request that the works are inspected and, if appropriate, that the 12 month maintenance period commences.
