Clinic facilities with 24 dental units (includes ultrasonic and piezo units) with desktop computers (with Eaglesoft dental
software), sterilization area, darkroom, 4 dental x-ray units, digital radiography, intraoral camera, cordless handpieces,
sealant curing lights, and panoramic and digital panoramic dental x-ray units.

Scaling comps=30%
Other competency exams=35%
Professionalism =35%
Minimum grade of 75 is required to pass this course
Your professionalism grade will be based on the number of “5”’s in professionalism that you receive throughout the
semester. Remember that incentive points will be added to the final average to raise your grade. Each student will
begin the semester with a 100 in professionalism. 5 points will be deducted from the professionalism grade for each
“5”.
