Each Nominator should attach a typed, signed letter (maximum 1 page) indicating why this Teaching Assistant should be
considered f
or the award. Includeanysignificantqualities,abilities,characteristicsandactivities whichdemonstratethe
nominee’squalificationsforthisaward. A relative comparison ranking is also very useful to the committee.
All materials should be submitted to Awards Officers, Office of Graduate Studies before March 1 of each year, for
teaching duties completed in the previous calendar year (i.e., January to December). The recipient of the Class of OAC
’60 Award for Outstanding Teaching Assistant is selected by the Office of Graduate Studies Awards Committee, which
may request additional information from the nominators for clarification.
