APPLICATION
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Freshman student majoring in agribusiness
2. History of participation in the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo.
This requires either sowing an animal or as a member of a judging team, or
as a participant in a 4-H or FFA National Western approved project such as
Ranchland.
Application Process:
1. Complete application and attached form
2. Submit a letter of recommendation from current instructor or advisor
3. Type at least a 300 word essay stating why you believe you are a probable
candidate for consideration for the National Western Stock Show Scholarship

Please note: There is no freshman GPA requirement for initial consideration of this scholarship,
however, the student must maintain a 2.0 minimum GPA each semester and a cumulative 3.0
minimum GPA to continue receiving scholarship funding. Sophomore students receiving the
scholarship must have a 3.0 GPA prior to receiving the scholarship.

Submission Instructions
Submit application before May 15.
