Please read the Cash Management Statement below. Sign and return this form, with all other requested documents, to the
Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA). You only have to complete this authorization once while attending Montgomery College.
You may change your answer to this authorization at any time (effective the next disbursement period) by completing a new
Cash Management Authorization form.
What this authorization does:
This authorization allows Montgomery College to apply your financial aid to certain allowable charges that are incurred prior to
the first disbursement of your financial aid for the semester.
Allowable charges include, but are not limited to:
• books,
• change of schedule fees,
• library charges/fines,
• parking tickets,
• child care center costs.
Answering “No” causes you
to be ineligible to be considered for a book credit (an advance of your refund available at the MC
bookstore) and may mean that you would still have a balance due, even if you have been issued a refund of financial aid funds.
This authorization does not guarantee financial aid eligibility nor eligibility for a refund.
SECTION B: CASH MANAGEMENT STATEMENT
If I receive financial aid funds, I understand Montgomery College will apply those funds directly to my outstanding tuition and
fees. I also authorize Montgomery College to apply excess financial aid funds to my other allowable charges:

understand that I can cancel or modify this authorization at any time. To change my response in a future semester, I must submit
an updated copy of this form to the Office of Student Financial Aid before the first disbursement of my funds.
