Credit Checking and Tenancy Referencing
We may contact credit and tenancy referencing agencies
to authenticate and verify your identity and credit status:
these agencies will also keep a record of any such
request. The scope and extent of the gathering of
information from third parties depends on what type of
service you are requesting from us. By signing this, you
consent to your personal data being gathered this way.
It is a criminal offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
declaration or withhold information in connection with this
application.
If it is found that false information has been given to obtain
housing either knowingly or recklessly, appropriate legal action
may be taken by Red Loft, or their housing association, local
authority or developer client of any leasehold tenancy granted.
As a local authority, housing association or other public sector
tenant, I/we will be required to give up my rented home on the
day of completion if I buy or rent through any low cost home
ownership product.
If I/we own or have an interest in a property now or previously,
I/we will be required to sell before exchange of contracts or
taking up a lease.
I/we authorise Red Loft to pass information to HomeBuy Agents,
partner housing providers, credit reference agencies.
If any of the information provided changes I will inform Red Loft.
I/we authorise Red Loft and their clients to send me/us
promotional material for new homes and events.

Red Loft may take up any references relating to your application from your
landlord and/ or employer on behalf of our clients.
We will discuss and may share some of your information with financial

are applying for.
All information we collect on you may be shared with the above parties in
relation to this application, and where there is a legal obligation to provide
it or we have your consent to use the information for other purposes.
For successful applicants, Red Loft will retain your details for no longer
that 12 months following completion of the last sale of the scheme you
have applied for. After this time they will be confidentially destroyed.
Unsuccessful applications will be confidentially destroyed 3 months
following completion of the last sale of the scheme you have applied for.
