TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) empowers students to succeed at Inver Hills, transfer prepared to succeed in a
bachelor’s degree program, and pursue their dreams. TRIO SSS provides personalized advising, transfer planning,
personal and leadership development, and a supportive, academically-focused community.
Bridge to Success is a TRIO SSS experience provided at no cost to students that prepares students who have recently
graduated from high school to make the transition to college and real-world success. Throughout fall semester, students
will meet online to gain knowledge about Inver Hills resources and opportunities, improve communication and study
skills, and develop connections with other students. See schedule below. Bridge to Success participants will also have the
opportunity to participate in a socially-distanced volunteer and community-building day on campus. Finally, contingent
upon public health conditions, students may have the opportunity to participate in a free Phy Ed credit, Outdoor Activity
Sampler, April 9th-11th, 2021. More information to come.
Students who complete Bridge to Success and meet all TRIO requirements during fall 2020 are eligible
for a $250 scholarship for spring 2021.
