NON-RESIDENT TUITION WAIVER

The TCC Non-Resident Tuition Waiver is a waiver of the non-resident portion of tuition for up to twelve (12) credit
hours for the Fall and Spring semester. Applicants will be awarded as funds are available and funding is not
guaranteed. Should the number of qualified applicants exceed the number of waivers available, applications will be
considered in the order they are received. The Fall/Spring priority deadline is July 1. The Spring priority deadline
is Nov 1 and Spring only awards are reserved for first-time TCC students, subject to availability.

Academic Requirements:
• First- time Entering Freshmen: high school completion or high school equivalency test
• Transfer Students: 2.5 GPA
• Continuing TCC Students: 2.5 retention GPA
Complete a 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Meet and maintain TCC’s financial aid satisfactory academic progress standards
Meet Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education criteria for a Non-Resident waiver of tuition as
available in detail at www.okhighered.org
EvaluationofApplicants
Applicants who have not attempted college credit will be evaluated on high school GPA, ACT scores, and/or high
school equivalency test scores. Applicants who have attempted college credit will be evaluated on retention GPA.
All applicants must maintain a completion rate of 67% and have not attempted more than 95 credit hours.
NotificationofAward
Successful applicants will receive an award notice via TCC email directing them to the Financial Aid Dashboard in
the MyTCC portal. This tuition waiver does not include student fees and only covers the non-resident portion of
tuition. Students are not eligible to receive more than one tuition waiver.
Certification
I certify that the information provided above is complete and correct. I understand that failure to submit all
required academic credentials will result in the denial of a non-resident tuition waiver. I further understand that
the decision of the selection committee is final and cannot be appealed.
