Qualifications and Application Requirements:
1. College of Business Majors
2. Minimum 3.25 Overall GPA (submit unofficial transcript)
3. Must be registered with Career Services and have resume’ attached
4. A 250-Word Essay Describing Your Five Year Career Plan
5. Active in Student Organizations
6. Provide Three References—Names and Contact information to include e-mail addresses and cell phone
numbers—faculty members may be used for two of the three references
Need Based Book Scholarship
Qualifications and Application Requirements:
1. Freshmen or Sophomore College of Business Majors
2. Minimum 2.25 GPA or 2.5 High School GPA for First Semester Freshmen Students (submit unofficial
transcript)
3. A 250-Word Essay Describing Your Five Year Career Plan
4. Required to ―Give Back‖ to the College of Business in a Service Project – Describe your proposed service
project
5. Provide Student Work Study, and Class Schedule
6. Provide Three References—Names and Contact information to include e-mail addresses and cell phone
numbers—faculty members may be used for two of the three references.
Striving Scholarship $500.00
Qualifications and Application Requirements: This award is for students who show improvement in their GPA.
Improvement can be semester to semester or overall GPA. This will also include readmitted students who earn at
least 2.5 GPA their first semester back.

Departmental Scholarship $500.00
Qualifications and Application Requirements: These awards are specific to the department and can include any of
the above awards’ criteria. They can be for high achievement, textbook, or striving. However, a student cannot
receive more than one scholarship.
