Circa 1982 Replica license plates may be issued for passenger vehicles, trailers, or light commercial vehicles. The initial fee for a Circa
1982 Replica license plate is $25.00, plus a Prison Industry fee of 50 cents per plate and a Technology fee of $1.00. These fees are in
addition to all other registration fees and taxes. These plates are exempt from the 8-year replacement requirement.
The fee for a new Personalized Circa 1982 Replica license plate is $60 plus a Prison Industry fee of 50 cents per plate and a Technology
fee of $1.00.
Your standard or personalized Circa 1982 Replica license plates will be mailed to the current address of record maintained by the
Department. If you ordered the Circa 1982 Replica license plates via mail, your plates will be forwarded to the DMV Location specified
on the application and you will be notified, by mail, when the plates are available to be picked up. If your vehicle is currently registered,
you have the option of maintaining your current vehicle registration expiration date, or renewing for a full 12-month period. Credit for any
unused portion of your current registration will be allowed. In applicable counties, if you are renewing for a full 12-month period, and your
previous evidence of compliance with emissions standards was obtained more than 90 days ago, the vehicle must be re-inspected prior
to registration. Nevada evidence of insurance must be presented at the time of the license plates are registered to the vehicle.
