Program Information
The MOBAS in Application Development/Mobile Platforms expands upon a student’s previous education and experience
with programming and web development. The program is designed to equip graduates with the skills necessary to
develop both iOS and Android mobile applications, as well as mobile back-end services.

2020, will be reviewed for priority admissions.

2020 will be reviewed for admissions on a rolling basis (no priority will be given).
Admission Requirements
In order to consider your application, you must meet the following conditions:
An Applied Science Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the areas
of computer science or information technology consisting of at least 90 credits, with a minimum
2.5 cumulative grade point average and a 2.0 grade in each of the following courses:
English 101 (5 credits) or equivalent
Any college-level MATH course that required Intermediate Algebra (MATH 085) as a prerequisite (5 credits)
College-level Humanities
College-level Social Sciences
Web or mobile foundations with a design component equivalent to Cascadia’s BIT 113
Database Design course equivalent to Cascadia’s BIT 275
Programming II course equivalent to Cascadia’s BIT 143
STUDENTS WHO ALREADY HAVE A BACHELORS DEGREE OR 90 CREDITS WITHOUT A DEGREE ARE ENCOURAGED TO MEET WITH THE IT ADVISOR
TO DISCUSS ENROLLMENT OPTIONS.

3. Personal Statement addressing the following prompt:
a. Describe your interest in the program and any experience that has helped you prepare for it
4. Official Transcripts from all previous colleges attended (even if you did not earn a degree).

b. Submit a Transcript Evaluation Form to Enrollment Services
