Student Lockers, Desks, and Personal Property
Students are required, before being issued a desk, locker or other assigned school property,
to agree to abide by the following regulations in relation to the use of lockers, desks, and
personal property on school grounds.
I agree to assume responsibility for the contents and security of the locker assigned
to
me, by ensuring that it is locked after each use.
I will not share my assigned locker or provide another student access to my
locker or lock combination.
I will not store any materials in my locker, desk and personal property that is in
violation of state or federal law or school rules.
I understand that all school property assigned to
me, such as a student locker or
desk, may be searched by school officials on a periodic basis for health and/or safety
purposes.
I understand that all my assigned student lockers, and/or desks, and my personal
property are subject to search by school officials if there is a reasonable suspicion
that I have violated a criminal law or school rule.
I understand that I must clean out my locker at the end of each semester, and that I
will be notified of the date and time my locker will be inspected so that it is
clean, safe
and in good repair.
Failure to follow the stipulated regulations may result in disciplinary action.
I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand these regulations and I agree to
abide by them.
