Extenuating Circumstance Appeal: Circumstances beyond the control of the student which caused the student to be unable
to complete their degree in the four year time frame. Please fill out the Written Appeals Request below explaining the
circumstance in question. Documentation to substantiate the student's claim may be attached and submitted with the
complete form. In some cases documentation may be required.
Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)/Nevada
Advantage Appeal for Extension
For continued eligibility for the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) or Nevada Advantage programs students must be eligible to
enroll and have continuous enrollment. The program is limited to four years and to the students first baccalaureate degree. At the end
of four years a student may file an appeal at the Office of Admissions and Records, 2nd Floor, Fitzgerald Student Services Building. Post
or second baccalaureate degree students are not eligible to appeal. Please fill out and submit the form and any supporting
documentation to be taken into consideration. All appeals must be submitted on or before the second Friday before the current
semester begins.
