Advanced Degree Graduation Application
Deadline Appeal Form
Appeals to the application deadline are accepted at the Graduate School until the last day of
the graduation term.
1. If you fail to meet the graduation application deadline for the semester in which you will complete your graduation
requirements, you may submit this appeal at the Graduate School Office. When the form is processed (within 10 working days),
the $95 application fee will show as due in your MyNEVADA. After the fee appears, you will have 3 days to pay it before a hold is
placed on your account.
2. Your name will not appear in any graduation publications (the graduation program or newspaper listing of graduates)
if your appeal is received after the application deadline for the term in which you plan to graduate.
3. Graduation ceremonies are conducted in May and December, and you may opt to participate in either one of these
ceremonies.
4. If you have graduate registration for a future term at the time you submit this appeal, it will be cancelled unless you submit a
new application for admission either as a graduate special or for a different graduate program.
