MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Sherri Gilkerson Memorial was established in memory of a dear loved one
who lost her life in a horse related accident in November of 2006. It is the hope
of Sherri’s family and friends that her memory will live on through enriching
the lives of others. By providing this scholarship, Horse Management/Rodeo
students will be able to pursue their dreams of education and working with
animals.
Application process:
1. Complete this form
2. Provide a short essay explaining educational goals and financial status while
attending LCCC (include other scholarships and financial aid that you know
about at time of application)
3. Submit a current transcript of your most recent education institution
(high school or college)
4. Preference will be given to Niobrara County students and students from
Lance Creek, Wyoming
5. Attending LCCC as a full-time student
