Transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and/or universities must be on file before an

Evaluation of transcripts may take from 6 to 8 weeks. A copy of your evaluation
may be obtained on request. If you are in a degree program, contact the counseling
office to speak with a counselor regarding how your transferred credits may count
in your program. Counseling appointments can be made by calling (760)921-5500.

Transcript Evaluation
Evaluations are processed within 6 to 8 weeks, not including open registration or
graduation periods. Students must be currently enrolled to qualify for a transcript
evaluation.
Official Transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and/or universities must be on
file before an evaluation will occur. It is the responsibility of the student/applicant to
provide official transcripts, photocopies will not be accepted. Students must provide
course descriptions for older courses if requested by the evaluator.
Upper division, apprenticeship, continuing education, adult education, non-regionally
accredited, or non-transferable courses will not be evaluated for credit, as only lower
division courses will satisfy Associate Degree Requirements (Title V Section 55062(a))
Equivalencies are granted based on course description and content comparison. If Palo
Verde College does not offer a comparable course, other resources are used to
determine transferability. These additional resources are ASSIST-the official repository
