for the semester. (Please refer to the academic calendar located on the PVC website for the last day to
register for the semester, which is also the last day to turn in this application to PVC’s Financial Aid
department).

2. Please bring the completed application to PVC along with the completed CHOICE checklist.
The checklist can be found at www.paloverde.edu/choice.
3. THIS APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE COMPLETED CHOICE CHECKLIST
TO THE FINANCIAL AID DEPARTMENT.
4. Student must complete the online application for college admission (CCCApply) accessible
at www.paloverde.edu/applynow.
5. Student must complete the Orientation. (See the CHOICE Checklist for details at www.paloverde.edu/
choice).
6. Student must complete both the CHOICE checklist and the CHOICE application available at
www.paloverde.edu/choice and submit both forms to the Financial Aid department. You’re done!

You must be a California resident (lived in California for one year and one day) or AB540 eligible AND
one of the following:
A first-time PVC college student OR
A returning PVC student who has not attended college within the past two years OR
A recent high-school graduate who has attended Palo Verde High School, Twin Palms High School,
Needles High School, or who has been home-schooled
