This certificate curriculum prepares individuals for employment in the automotive service
industry as a brake, suspension, steering, and alignment technician. The curriculum also
prepares individuals for ASE A-4 (Suspension and Steering) and A-5 (Brakes) automobile
technician certification exams. Credits may be applied to the automotive technology AAS.
