This certificate curriculum prepares individuals for employment in the automotive service
industry as an electrical systems technician. The curriculum also prepares individuals for
the ASE A-6 (Electrical/Electronic Systems) and L-3 (Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle
Specialist) automobile technician certification exam. Credits may be applied to the
automotive technology AAS.
