This certificate curriculum prepares individuals for employment in the automotive service
industry as an engine performance and repair technician. The curriculum also prepares
individuals for ASE A-1 (Engine Repair), A-8 (Engine Performance), and L-1 (Advanced
Engine Performance) automobile technician certification exams. Credits may be applied to
the automotive technology AAS.
This certificate is a career program and may not readily transfer to four year colleges/universities (except in special cases.)
