Guide to Medieval Life Project
Directions: In module unit, you have explored what life was like in the early,
High, and late Middle Ages of Europe. For this project, you will use what you have
learned to produce a guide to medieval life. Your guide will introduce readers to
the experiences of different groups of people in the Middle Ages. To complete the
activity, first review Lesson 2: Feudalism and the Manor Economy, as well as the
first four sections of Lesson 4: Economic Expansion and Change: The Crusades
and After in the World History online etext.

paragraph in which you address the following:
Identify the economic role of the group.
Identify the group’s place in the social hierarchy.
Describe challenges faced by members of the group.
Describe the potential benefits of belonging to that group.
Finally, add a creative title.
Remember to be informative and factual, but also have fun. You want your time
traveler to enjoy the read!
