1. SETUP: Set-up begins at 2:00 p.m. Complete set-up
by 4:30 p.m. Plan to stay until 8:00 p.m. to allow
those in line at 7:00 p.m. to move through the displays.
2. DRIVE THRU ROUTE: The event will be drive through
only. Traffic will flow from North to South,

3.
JUDGING NUMBER: A day or two before the event,
your judging number will be e-mailed to you. Place it
on the front of your display so it can be seen from a
distance.
4.
DISPLAY SPACE: Event staff will direct you to a space
when you arrive. Spaces are approx. 10'x10'. If you
would like to be placed next to someone, please arrive
together.
5.
DECORATE A VEHICLE OR BOOTH with holiday
decorations in the "North Pole Party" Theme. All
display items must be contained within your space.
There is no electricity available, so lights must be
battery operated.
6.
BRING WEIGHTS to secure your tent in the event of
wind. Display spaces are on pavement.

THEME: NORTH POLE PARTY
7. PROHIBITED: No floats or trailers of any size. No
generators. No electric cords across the sidewalk.
8.
THERE IS ONLY ONE SANTA at the event. You may
not have anyone dressed in a Santa suit or have any
other kind of Santa.
9.
DISTRIBUTION: Please do not distribute loose flyers,
coupons or candy. If you give away candy, please
package it in paper or plastic bags. Coupons, flyers or
business cards may be attached to bags. As a guide,
800-1200 children may attend this event.
10.
CATEGORIES TO BE JUDGED: Most Original, Adult
Service Award, Youth Service Award, Most Related to
Theme and Grand Champion. Displays will be judged
on appearance, originality and theme.
11.
CHRISTMAS DISPLAY AWARDS: Awards will be
presented at the January City Council Meeting.
12. The City is partnering with
GIFTS OF LOVE FOOD BANK
for this event. Help us fill the
pantry by bringing at least one
non-perishable food item to
donate.
