CURB APPEAL? Edgewater's Beaucaon
program recognizes community residents and
businesses who make Edgewater an even nicer
place to live by creang and maintaining beauful
landscaping with harmonious design, layout,
proporon, balance, color and eco-friendliness as
well as projects that show civic pride by
beaufying buildings with improvements such as
aracve addions, decks, paint schemes,
shuers or planter boxes.
WHO CAN ENTER
The Beaucaon Award is open to any home or
business in Edgewater. Properes must comply
with the City's Code of Ordinances. Home or
business owners may nominate themselves or
another property they consider beauful.
Nominaons made on behalf of another must be
formally accepted by the nominee. By self-
nominang or by accepng a nominaon, you
grant the City of Edgewater the right to publicly
use your name, address and photographs of your
property.
JUDGING & DEADLINES
The Community Beaucaon Award program is
administered by Edgewater's Recreaon &
Cultural Services Board. Following review of
Nominaons each Spring, the Board will evaluate
properties and determine winners. May 1
st
is the
deadline to submit a Nominaon.
WINNING PROPERTIES
Beaucaon Award winners will be announced
by May 30
th
and a Beaucaon Award sign will
be displayed at winning properes.
