Steps:
1. Determine how many equivalent
fractions are needed.
2. Draw the area model and label with the
starting fraction.
3. Draw additional models below the first
and divide the same way.
4. Divide the remaining models in half
again. Shade only the next model and
label.
5. Repeat step 4 until you have found the
correct number of equivalent fractions.
6. Solve.
