SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The intent of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students attending
Laramie County Community College. It is the donors desire to benefit students who
must address significant challenges in their lives in order to pursue higher education.
Scholarship requirements:
Scholarship recipient must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student.
Preference will be given to students who are working one or more jobs
while attending classes; to students who are faced with the burden of
caring for an elderly parent or disabled child; to students who have a
difficult time attending college due to obligations associated with raising
children; to students who have lacked the financial means to attend
college; and to students who have not succeeded at college, however,
demonstrates a current desire to succeed.
Special consideration should be given to students who have shown a
desire to improve their situation in life through education.
Application process:
Complete attached application.
Attach a short essay explaining obstacles you have encountered while
trying to obtain your education. Additionally, give a brief statement on
family circumstances.
Attach a copy of most recent transcript – college or high school.
Letter of recommendation from a professional non-family member who
is aware of your past or current situations (counselor, clergy, teacher,
advisor, doctor etc.)
Students are encouraged to reapply for the Andrikopoulos Family
Scholarship for subsequent years.
