Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program
Executive Sponsorship Agreement
Individuals identied as high potential leaders by an Alaska
Native Corporation or other organization may apply for
admission to the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program
(ANELP) at Alaska Pacic University. To gain program admission,
applicants must meet the minimum qualications outlined below,
submit the online application for ANELP, admission documents,
and signed Executive Sponsorship and Financial Agreement
forms.
By successfully completing ANELP, participants will:
Build a strong foundation of nancial knowledge
Understand key Alaska Native Corporation business lines
Learn how to lead teams eectively through change
Network with Alaska Native Leaders from across the State
Participate in classes led by Alaska Pacic University’s top business professors and leading
Alaska Native Corporation executives
Secure a Graduate Certicate in Alaska Native Executive Leadership from APU
Earn 9 credits towards APU’s Executive MBA program
Minimum Qualications/Prerequisites:
Minimum of three years’ work experience at or above managerial level
Currently holds a leadership position
Undergraduate degree and/or 10 years of progressive work experience
Admission Requirements:
Submit online ANELP Graduate Certicate Application
500 word statement of interest describing your career goals and how ANELP will help you
accomplish them
Current resume demonstrating appropriate managerial experience
Submit signed Executive Sponsorship and Financial Agreement forms
Ocial transcript(s) from all postsecondary institutions, if applicable
Transcriptsareconsideredocialwhenreceivedinanenvelopethatwassealedbythecredit-awarding
institutionandarriveatAPUunopened.ElectronictranscriptsarealsoacceptedwhensentdirectlytoAPU
fromthecredit-awardinginstitutionviaasecuredelectronictranscriptservice.
