Donovan Walsh Scholarship Application
The Donovan Walsh Scholarship funded by GCI is open to all students. Preference will be given to
Alaska Native students or students
from rural Alaska. Ten $2,000 Scholarships will be awarded for the
fall 2021 semester. The application deadline to apply for the scholarship is February 1, 2021.
Criteria:
Individual must be a degree seeking student in Good Academic Standing
Enrolled at least part-time
Preferences:
Preference for the Donovan Walsh Scholarship will be given to students who demonstrate financial need
and individuals who self-identify as Alaska Native or American Indian or who are from rural Alaska.
Rural is defined as an individual living outside of the Municipality of Anchorage, Mat-Su, Fairbanks, or
Juneau. Student will need to submit the FAFSA prior to submitting this application.
The Scholarship will provide financial support toward a student's tuition and fees.
Application deadline is February 1, 2021 11:59 pm AST.
