Application Requirements
1. Signed application from applicant and chief or designee.
2. Statement of interest from applicant. Students must have a basic level of proficiency in Microsoft Office prior to
attending class.
3. Letter of support from chief or designee. If more than one applicant from a department is being recommended the chief
or designee needs to identify applicants priority.
4. The Advisory Board will review applications. Applicant interviews may be conducted by the Advisory Board
for final consideration. Criteria will be prioritized by Rank, New Agencies, Promotional Potential.
Important Dates
APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY September 7, 2018 FOR PRIORITY CONSIDERATION.
Advisory Board may conduct personal/phone interviews October/November 2018.
Applicants will be notified by December 12, 2018 for consideration into 2019 program.
