How to Use the Editable Games
You can use the games in two ways.
1 Print the games as they are, and write in the words you want your students to practice.
2 Type the words you want your students to practice, and then print the games.
IMPORTANT: If you want to type in the words, you must follow this tutorial for it to work. Please follow all these steps
before sending an email for troubleshooting.
1 Download this document to your computer. Then open with the most recent version of Adobe Reader. You can
get Adobe Reader for free HERE.
2 To use the same font, go to Teachers Pay Teachers and login. Download and install KG Primary Penmanship from
Kimberly Geswein to your computer (free for personal use).
3 Click on and type your text in the spaces on each game. If you do not type words in the spaces or cards, the games will
print blank.
4 You may have used editable games from other bloggers/sellers in which the letters autosize for you. Currently, my
program is not allowing that option. If the words you’re typing are too big for the spaces, try a different game board. The
first three games come in two different versions: one for shorter words and one for longer words. If the words still don’t fit,
you will have to print the games and write them in.
5 Save your work and print the game(s).
*Troubleshooting Ideas for Mac Users
