YMCA membership,
Interns will be offered a stipend of a maximum of $1,500 for a 300-hour internship (to be pro-
rated for fewer hours). Paid monthly in even payments for duration of internship.
Fall 2006(Northeast YMCA)
Downtown:
15 hours/wk, Center open daily 6-11am; 3-7p.m. and Saturday mornings. Northeast: (fitness
attendants) Monday-Friday 3-7pm. (sports staff) Monday-Friday, 2-7pm; Sat. 8am-noon.

We provide YMCA shirts that are
required during shifts worked.
Specific skills need per positions, see
attachments. Positions: Personal Fitness Program Coach, Fitness Attendants, Sports Staff,
Front Desk.

Personal Fitness Program Coach: Coach, behavior change programs, document, file, etc.
Fitness Attendants: assist members, orientate members, fitness center clean, etc.
Sports Staff: supervise coaches/parents, enforce rules, officiate games, assist marketing, etc.
Front Desk: provide information, financial transactions, conduct tours, program registration, etc.
All must display YMCA mission and character values daily.
The YMCA has had an extremely successful
relationship with UWF concerning intern students. We have utilized UWF for the past 6 years
on a regular basis and have been very pleased with the results. Several students, upon grad-
uation have been hired as YMCA employees. Previous to this survey, we have dealt with Dr.
Moreeli directly.
