1. Please submit the following materials in one email to VECTOR@valenciacollege.edu and
include “APPLICANT: Your first and last name” in the subject line.
• Complete the 2020 VECTOR Program Application.
• Provide documentation of citizenship, resident, or refugee status.
• Submit a personal essay indicating your interest and experience in STEM; formatted in
12-point font, double-spaced, and a maximum of 3 pages.
• Submit your unofficial high school transcript. In addition, include any unofficial college
transcripts if applicable.
• Submit your PERT, Florida End-of-Course, FCAT, and/or college-level ACT/SAT Test
Scores.
2. Request up to three letters (minimum one letter) of recommendation from your Academic and
Community/Volunteer References. Letters must be sent by the reference to the
VECTOR@valenciacollege.edu with “Letter of Recommendation: Applicant’s Name” in the
subject line. Letters of reference sent by the applicant will not be considered.
3. Complete the 2020-2021 (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
• The FAFSA application can take 1-2 weeks to be sent to Valencia College. Valencia may
request additional documentation (verification) that may prolong the process an
additional 2-4 weeks. Submit your FAFSA early!
4. If you have not already applied to Valencia College, please use the link provided to complete
the Valencia College Online Admissions Application. If you have already applied to Valencia
College, please proceed to Step #5.
