:
VSCC: Volunteer State Community College
STUDENT: Any individual listed and categorized as an enrolled attendee of Volunteer State Community College.
WORK: Artwork, written materials, musical performance, voice recording, song and/or other creative material
developed by the Student without regard to its form of expression.
I hereby grant permission for VSCC to publish the Work created by me in connection with the PROJECT. In addition,
although I retain the rights to the Work, I hereby grant VSCC, its agents and assigns a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable,
non-exclusive right to edit, make derivative works of, digitize, transmit, broadcast, publicly display, publicly perform,
copy and distribute the Work or any portion thereof and use my name and likeness, throughout the world, in all media
now known or hereinafter discovered, as part of the PROJECT and in advertising and publicity for the PROJECT.
I hereby release VSCC, its agents, employees, licensees and assigns from and against any and all claims which I have or
may have in the future arising out of the production, distribution, publication, broadcast or exhibition of my name or
likeness or the Work as permitted by this release.
I certify, to the best of my knowledge, this is my original WORK and not created by any individual other than myself. The
rights I have granted to VSCC hereunder do not and will not violate any right of any third party. I shall, at my expense,
defend, hold harmless and indemnify VSCC and its employees, agents and assigns against any claim or suit against VSCC
that VSCC’s use of the Work infringes a third-party’s copyright or other intellectual property.
I acknowledge that I am not receiving compensation for my development of the Work, and I understand that this release
does not obligate VSCC to use the Work.
