Statement of Interest
Qualifications for Appointment to the Architectural Review Board
The City of Chamblee is currently accepting Statements of Interest from qualified individuals for
positions on the Architectural Review Board (ARB).
The ARB
reviews Developments of Community Impact, which include development or building
projects with an
aggregate of 20,000 square feet or more of new buildings or a site consisting of two
acres or more. The
ARB meets once per month, as needed, when new applications are received.
Meetings are generally
held on the first Tuesday of each month. ARB members must be
residents, a business owner, or a
property owner in the city, none of whom shall hold any other
public office or position with the city. Desirable special qualifications of the members include an
understanding of and skills in architectural design, landscape architecture, urban planning,
zoning, land use, real estate development or engineering. Positions
are volunteer and members
are appointed to 2-year terms.

Dickison, Planning & Development Director, mdickison@chambleega.gov. Alternatively, hard
copies may be
dropped off at the Development Department, 3506 Broad Street, Chamblee, GA
30341. The deadline to submit is November 30, 2018.
