Thank you for your interest in the Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Program at Laramie Count Community College.
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is
designed to provide comprehensive academic education and practical training for
Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). The program content is based upon
the recommendations of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
(ASHA). In addition to work in the classroom, the program provides students with
the opportunity to gain practical experience in working with clients/patients in a
variety of settings.

Students are selected based on the completeness of the application, including the GPA,
completion of ENGL 1010, resume, and date of receipt of application. There are 20 students
allowed per cohort.
