Formal Education
Receive points for the highest level of education attained in the last five (5) years. Includes accredited college/university in-person, distance
learning and/or online courses. Acceptable documentation includes copy of diploma, institution verification letter or college/university
transcripts. MUST indicate institution/organization, name of program, dates of enrollment and total contact hours. (+.5 points if in
hospitality/events)
Designees must have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable, full-time experience within the industry, either in a freelance or formal
capacity during the recertification period. You must attach your current CV or resume and include your job description or business description
including the products and/or services you provide. For freelance work, a letter of reference from a client/client organization is required for
verification.

All CSEPs are responsible for helping to promote and maintain the CSEP designation. Acceptable forms of documentation include, but are
not limited to certificate or confirmation of completion, published listing/agenda of speaking engagement, list of mentored CSEP applicants,
copy of blog post/article or outline of course work. ILEA HQ will post at least one exam development opportunity per year to support the two
(2) point minimum requirement.
