Latino Heritage Scholarship Application
There are 4 scholarships available for the 2015-2016 academic year.
One, $1,000 scholarship for a student enrolled for 6 or more credits at LCCC.
Three, $1,200 scholarships for students enrolled in 12 or more credits at LCCC.
Instructions
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must complete each of the following requirements:
1. Complete and submit a Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) Application
for Admission.
2. Enroll in a degree or certificate program at LCCC.
3. Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5
through their most recent marking period in high school or most current semester in
college to be eligible for these scholarships.
4. Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov (you and/or your parent must apply for a pin number first) by
April 1, 2015. The college code for Lehigh Carbon Community College is 006810.
Completion of a FAFSA is required so financial need can be determined. If there is a
specific reason you cannot complete a FAFSA, please contact Financial Aid to discuss
the issue.
5. Complete and submit this scholarship application electronically to the location indicated on
the bottom of this form.

Transcript(s)
Students are required to supply a hard-copy transcript from either LCCC, your most recent
college attended, or from your last high school of record (high school, tech school, etc.) LCCC
students can learn how to request a transcript at http://goo.gl/QTdTwv. Hard-copy transcripts

NOTE ON TRANSFER OF SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
If you are selected for and accept a scholarship administered through the LCCC
Foundation, in most cases funds are transferred directly to your LCCC student account,
which will occur after the LCCC Foundation office receives your completed Thank You
note to the donor. Standard thank you note cards with envelope are provided by the LCCC
Foundation office, SSC 104, or by email request to tbean@lccc.edu.
