Joy of Lifelong Learning Guidelines
Canadian citizens and permanent residents of BC who have reached the age of 55 before or within the current term of
application have the opportunity to register in a selected North Island College University Transfer course.
Joy of Lifelong Learning students register at a special rate if they:
Apply and pay the appropriate application fee
Register as an audit student in any identified University Transfer courses posted on the website
Pay appropriate reduced tuition and fees
Joy of Lifelong Learning students are subject to the following conditions:
Cannot displace a fee paying student,
Will not be charged a non-refundable deposit at time of registration but will be subject to fee and refund
timelines,
cannot register more than once for the same course,
Joy of Lifelong Learning students who wish to register in courses for credit must pay the full tuition fee and must meet
the admission and course prerequisites.
