I have at least three years experience as a legal internship serving a
lawyer or judge licensed in any Court of the United States [attach an
affidavit from the lawyer or judge testifying to your legal knowledge and
abilities, particularly with respect to Native Law]; or
I am licensed as an attorney in the State of ____________ and/or the
following Tribal Court Bars; or
I have served as a judge for six months or more in the ________________
Court (specify the federal, state or tribal courts you have served as Judge);
or
I have at least two years experience working as a paralegal or legal
assistant for a licensed lawyer, law firm, Tribal, State or Federal Court
Judge, or have obtained a paralegal degree or certificate, or have two
years experience as a court clerk in a Tribal, State or Federal Court; or
I cannot satisfy any of the requirements listed above but have obtained
legal knowledge and abilities in the following manner and agree that if
this application is approved I will not appear in more than one case per
year without leave of court; or
I am a traditional Tlingit or Haida Clan Leader and am recognized as such
by the local Tlingit and Haida Community Council or IRA Council.
3. I am of good moral character and agree to bring to the Court's attention any
matters raising questions regarding my behavior or character, past and current
that may reflect adversely upon the perception of my honesty or integrity.
Specifically, I certify to the following:
I have not been arrested for or charged with a felony or crime of
dishonesty or crime against a child.
I have not been convicted of a felony or crime of dishonesty or crime
against a child.
I have not been the subject of disciplinary investigation or action by a
federal, state or tribal bar association.

admission to the Tlingit & Haida Tribal Court Bar, please briefly explain on a
