The Distinguished Alumnus Hall of Fame Award recognizes a Cerritos College alumnus for extraordinary
achievement of an exceptional nature in any field as well as contributions to the community or the College.
The award is given to no more than one person annually and need not be awarded each year. Please
complete the information below and attach a detailed biography and minimum of three letters of support
for consideration.
Selection Criteria
Please include information which applies to your nominee and complete as much of the listed information
as possible. This will ensure that the committee will make a selection based on comparable information of
all nominees.
The candidate must have attended the college for at least two semesters or completed at least 24 units.
The candidate must have achieved prominence in his or her field, be recognized in the community,
and/or be recognized at the state or national level for accomplishment.
Public name recognition is not a requirement. Achievement and/or contribution to the community, a
profession, research, or to the college are important.
Service or participation in Associated Students of Cerritos College (ASCC), athletics, clubs, and other
organizations should be considered.
