Boardwalk Equipment Guidelines
1. South End to South 1
st
(Inlet Village is Private Property)
a. 8,000 lb max weight
b. Nothing larger than ¾ ton pick-up without approval from City Engineer
2. South 1st to Pier
a. 25,000 lb max w

b. Virtually any equipment is allowed except cranes with outriggers must be approved by the City
Engineer
c. Avoid fully loaded concrete or tandem dump trucks on wood except for crossing
3. East Pier Crossing
a. 12,000 lb max weight
b. Nothing larger than a single axle truck without approval from City Engineer
4. Pier to North Division (including N. Division St. End)
a. 25,000 lb max weight
b. Virtually any equipment is allowed except cranes with outriggers must be approved by the City
Engineer
c. Avoid fully loaded concrete or tandem dump trucks on wood except for crossing
5. North Division to 4th
a. 25,000 max weight on wood
b. Unlimited weight on concrete
6. 4th to 27th
a. 25,000 lb max weight
b. Virtually any equipment is allowed except cranes with outriggers must be approved by the City
Engineer
