all students entering the ADN program. Points will be
awarded for the highest grade for English or ELIC
course, not the average of two combined courses.
If an Advanced Placement (AP) score is used to meet the English
prerequisite, you will only receive credit for a C grade. English 103 may
be taken for letter grade to raise the English score. NOTE: English 102
taken prior to Fall 2017 will be accepted to raise the English score.

Effective 6/1/17, applicants are allowed two attempts
each year to achieve a minimum of 62% on the current
TEAS
TEAS is available in the MJC Testing Center, but you
must preregister online through ATI Testing.
Applicants are advised to receive TEAS tutoring before
taking TEAS.
Applicants may obtain a TEAS study guide by logging
on to www.atitesting.com and selecting “shop online”
under products.
Study guides are available in the MJC and Columbia
College Library and Learning Centers.
Points are awarded for TEAS attempts of 62% or
higher. Whole numbers are used - decimals will not be
rounded up.
Applicants with two TEAS scores below 62% in a year
will be disqualified and prohibited from applying to the
ADN program for that year.
