STUDENTS UNDECIDED ABOUT THEIR MAJOR SHOULD MEET WITH A FACULY COUNSELOR/ADVISOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
THIS IS NOT A DEGREE FROM WHICH ONE CAN GRADUATE.
General Studies Undecided is meant to give students some structure to help guide choices as they move towards
declaring a major. Thus, this is a temporary major only to be used before a student successfully earns 30 credit
hours. Students must meet with a counselor or advisor to declare a new major before earning 30 credit hours.
If you are about to earn 30 credits, please meet with a counselor or advisor to help guide you through the
process of changing your major using the Declaration/Change of Program of Study (major) form.
ELECTIVES-these can be any college level course.
Undecided students are recommended to take either STSU 100: First Year Seminar, STSU 101: Seminar for International
Students or STSU 120: Career Development to help in the process of deciding on a major.
