The ARNG scholars
hip is offered in partnership with the Virginia ARNG. This is not a federal or state
entitlement but a Liberty University offered and solely funded scholarship. Liberty University and/or the
Virginia ARNG may terminate this scholarship program at any time with a 30-day written notice to
participating partners (not necessarily to the students receiving the scholarship).
I understand th
at it is my responsibility to remain eligible for this scholarship and that any time that I fail
to meet the minimum eligibility requirements my scholarship may be revoked without notice. I pledge
to remain in compliance with the following eligibility requirements:
Remain in Army compliance for physical fitness to include passing my APFT and
height/weight.
Remain in good standing with my National Guard unit and in compliance with monthly and
annual drill requirements.
Meet all military obligations, training, deployments, etc.
Submit my annual Statement of Understanding (SOU) required for federal tuition assistance.
Successfully complete all of my courses, remaining in good academic standing with Liberty
University.
Must remain in compliance with all ethical / moral character expectations; honor and/or
character violations may result in immediate removal of scholarship award.
Proactively report any changes in my status that may affect my eligibility for this
scholarship.
Complete Financial Check-In in a timely manner.
Must request and use all Federal (GoArmyEd) and State TA I am eligible to receive each semester
I understand all criteria to qualify for, receive, and remain eligible for the ARNG Scholarship. I will honor
my part of this agreement.
