PROOF OF INSURANCE
At minimum, the Policy shall provide coverage of not less than $500,000 per person and $1,000,000 per
aggregate. The Policy shall list Town of Fort Myers Beach as an additional insured and shall provide that

coverage shall not be cancelled or materially altered except after 30 days written notice has been
received by the Town.
Proof of the continued coverage under the insurance policy shall provide upon the Town Manager’s
request, given on a reasonable notice at any time, that the License is valid and outstanding. Any failure to
provide such proof shall render the license null and void and of no further use and effect.
APPLICATION FEES – The permit application fee is $25.00 and must be paid at the time the application is
submitted.

FIRE INSPECTION REPORT
Prior to any annual license renewal, the Fire Marshal will submit evidence of Fire Safety Inspection to the
Town.
WRECKER OPERATOR PERMIT
A copy of the business owner’s “wrecker operator permit” issued by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is
required to be submitted. Loss, for any reason, of a wrecker operator permit issued by the Lee County
Sheriff’s Office shall result in immediate suspension of any Town towing license issued.

By submitting this application, the applicant acknowledges the maximum rates set by
Lee County
Ordinance 13-19 as follows:
1. Wrecker Rates
a. Class A Wreckers (including Roll-back or Slide-back Carriers)

ii. Rotation Tow (Law Enforcement Tow) $150.00
iii. Mileage Charge $4.00

b. Class B Wreckers
