All meter hubs need to be properly marked (e.g., apt. #, lot #, street #, etc.). Santee Cooper is not
responsible for marking meter hubs. The Customer/Contractor is responsible for proper identification
on meter hubs. Meters will not be set in the meter hubs that are known to be incorrectly marked or
not marked at all.
1. Two (2) working days minimum required if only a meter and overhead service connection is
needed. One (1) day if only a meter is needed.
2. Ten (10) working days minimum required if installation of overhead service is needed (ie, wires,
pole, transformer).
