1. Reference/Letter of Recommendation: Sealed letter of recommendation from college or university instructor or
high school teacher. Instructors/teachers may send these letters directly to one of the Honors Program Coordinators.
Instructors/teachers should address student’s previous and potential academic performance; written, verbal, and critical
thinking skills; and commitment to higher education.
2. Leadership List: Submit a typed list of leadership positions, work or job responsibilities, community service, and/or other
involvement in your community in recent years (as applicable).
3. Essay: In 300-500 words, explain and describe how you use critical thinking in your daily life. Please provide concrete
examples and be as specic as possible.
