Thank you for applying for the 2017 Clovis Community Band Scholarship. This
scholarship is for students who have been in a band or choir in high school. You do
not have to be a music major to apply. You are required to be a student in the fall of
2017.
Total award: $300
Please submit an essay of no less than 250 words answering the following statements.
Describe three skills you acquired in your experience as a musician and how you
might expect them to help you accomplish your academic goals.
Please include a thorough description of the skills learned, as well as how these
abilities will transfer over to specific academic endeavors.
